Hi I'm Coach Cristina

I'm passionate about helping endurance athletes achieve your goals through science based nutrition and training.

Too often I hear misinformation on nutrition, or training. That will get in the way of you achieving your goals.  I want you to feel your healthiest, train and race injury free.

I created Team Fueled Racing to be a reliable roadmap for nutrition and athletic success. 

With Team Fueled Racing, you'll receive a step-by-step practical roadmap to achieve your nutrition and training goals. All within a community of like minded athletes who will cheer you along the way.

I'm a driven, motivated athlete like you. 

I understand the unique challenges this lifestyle brings. So you can be sure that whatever you're going through I've been there too.   I started in endurance sports as a swimmer. I swam up through college swimming Division 1 (butterfly).

Then I transitioned to swimming open water races (I was open water national champion), short and long distance triathlon (including multiple Ironman™) and running races.  Trail running is a favorite of mine. For over 15 years I've competed as an athlete, and coached for over 10. 

My experience as an athlete means I also know that the pressures of competitive sport can have devastating consequences, when we allow things to get out of balance.

My disappointment at not realizing my olympic swimming aspirations sent me into a dark place battling - and ultimately overcoming - anorexia and bulimia. Part of my training philosophy is to keep you safe from harmful beliefs about training and nutrition that can be damaging physically and mentally.

I hold an undergraduate and graduate degree in exercise physiology and nutrition, a post graduate diploma from the International Olympic Committee and advanced credentials from the International Society of Sports Nutrition. I am also a triathlon and running coach, with certifications from Stacy Sims Women are Not Small Men and Menopause courses.

Once you join the team, if for any reason you find out that Team Fueled Racing is not working out for you we offer a refund on your previous 7 days of membership. We do not backdate refunds further back than seven days.

If you want to meet and exceed your training goals, you need the support, feedback, and tough love that comes with a like-minded group of peers.  

Team Fueled Racing gives you the support that you need to thrive in the endurance sports lifestyle.

Our team was crafted for busy working professionals. Some have children, some do not. In all cases we strive to create plans and programs that provide the right balance of training stimulus and recovery. Our plans range from 3 hours to 15 hours, depending on what race you are doing. Our running and swimming plans will be on the lower end, while our Ironman™ plans will be longer.

All our plans are doable for busy adults.

No. Our membership is more than just a stock plan. It's the best of both worlds. It's the price of a stock plan, with the 1:1 support and camaraderie of 1:1 coaching. You'll receive a 1:1 call with the coach to determine which of our 50+ plans is right for you. 

Plus you'll get the opportunity to get 1:1 help right within out community.

Our plans are crafted in a way so that you'll build your endurance and strength in a periodized progression. This allows for proper recovery and the building of fitness, with less risk of injury and burnout. Also, at the same time you're building your fitness, you'll be focusing on utilizing nutrition and recovery techniques to maximize your improvement. 

Training plans are delivered via Training Peaks. You do not need a premium version of Training Peaks, the free basic account is fine. You'll receive a daily email that prompts you of your upcoming workout. The strength plans are created via video and are housed within the membership.

Our team is online, however you do not have to be. Your training plan will emailed to you daily, or you can look at it from a full training plan view. We have bi-weekly coaching calls via zoom, and have a community on and off Facebook. You're welcome to participate as little or as much as you'd like. We're here for support.

Our coaching calls are recorded, and the information that we go through is uploaded right into the membership. So you'll be able to view the calls at your convienience. You're welcome to submit questions, though all questions can be answered within our community at any time.

We offer 1:1 customized endurance coaching and nutrition. Once you're a apart of our team, you get discounts on certain coaching and nutrition programs. This isn't necessary to receive all of the benefits of the team. 

Yes. It's the reality that unfortunately endurance athletes get injured. We strive to prevent this by creating plans that build your strength and endurance in a way that prevents injury. Our plans include strength training and mobility work.

If you do get injured, you'll have access to strength plans and training plans specific for injuries. So you'll be able to keep training while recovering.

Our nutrition programs are geared towards athletes that want balanced , easy to follow and delicious to implement recipes. We do not believe in starving or depriving athletes, in fact we want you to fuel your best, to perform your best. We have plant based and omnivore programs, and while we encourage you to follow along with our team on sports nutrition, it's optional.

You may cancel your membership at  at any time, but if you want to rejoin your rate will not carry over. You will rejoin at whatever is the standard current rate at your time of rejoining.
